Hi, I have an amazing story of how I got my new house.

After my husband left me and my two young boys, ages 2 and 4, I realised pretty quickly that I needed to get out of the ‘family’ home. I decided that I needed a house where my ex had never lived so the boys would stop asking ‘When is daddy coming home?’. I drove to the house as often as I could and then drove the kids to school. I imagined how my furniture would look in the house, how my car would look in the driveway and how I would decorate it. I visually put my clothes in the wardrobes, my art up on the walls and filled the house with my possessions in my mind.

Then something amazing happened. The first offer fell through and ‘my’ house was back on the market!! So I immediately put my house up for sale and started packing because I knew the house would be mine. I then took my parents to see the house. They thought it was perfect and in order to secure it they offered to give me the exact amount of money that I needed to buy it upfront! It was also the exact amount of money that I had written on my Magic Check! They said that I could pay them back after I had sold my house.

So the first time I went and saw the house, it felt like home. I put in a cash offer and put the ‘SOLD’ sticker on the sign out in the front that very same day. My life has changed beyond belief and I am so, so grateful.
