My story begins on a similar note as others posted on this website. I watched The Secret with an educated mind, trying to find some nonsense to disbelieve the subject. After watching the movie half way through, I felt compelled and anxious to start using The Secret in my own life. I could recall times in my life when I used The Secret, unbeknown to me, and things turned out the way I wanted. I also recalled times when I thought myself into a hole, and stayed there until my soul had enough. Could life really be this easy?

Within just a few days, The Secret started to open up doors for me I never could have imagined. My first thought when using the Secret was, “I want more money.” Guess what? I received an extra $1,600 on my tax return that I never knew was possible (student credits). The very next day, my car dealership called me (I had just bought a car about 2 days before viewing the movie). They wanted to let me know that they were lowering my interest rate on my loan and my payment would drop to $40 a month! Just like that! I did not even ask for a better payment.

To add icing to my already tasty cake, I needed to go clothes shopping to return back to work (just had baby number four). I allowed myself a $200 limit. Every piece of clothing I tried on I thought, “I want this!” After having all the clothes ringed up, my balance was $254.00. “Oh… I really want the rest, but my allowance was $200.00”, I told the cashier. Out of nowhere, she gave me a smile, reached down to scan a coupon book and rang up a new total. The new total was $143.00! “What!?” I exclaimed. “Today is your lucky day. I am moving to Texas on Monday and will not need my discount.” As I was leaving the store, I realized life really isn’t such a hard thing after all.

I bought the book and the CD collection so I can always listen to these cherished words of advice as I journey this newfound life. I want a rewarding career that allows me time to spend with my family. I want to make enough money to live out my last days traveling around the world. I want to make a name for myself that will carry on even after my energy force has traveled onto another chapter of life. I want blissful happiness wherever I go. Most of all, I always want to reflect on Rhonda’s words of hope and guidance so I may use The Secret every single day of my life. Thank you. I will keep in touch!
