Never give up
Submitted by: Roshan Patel
Cape Town, South AfricaI am a mother of two wonderful boys and have been married for 18 years.
I stubbled across the book, The Magic, totally by accident, at a time in my life when my world was crumbling around me. I walked into a bookshop here in Cape Town and something told me to buy the book. I bought it.
At the time my manager had just told me that I had three months to find another job and a week later, my husband had asked me for a divorce. I was down and defeated. But, deep down I knew that this was not the end. My spirit remained optimistic.
A few months earlier I had suffered from depression through work stress and so I knew that I never wanted to be that defeated in that way ever again. I had always had a “fighter” spirit. I think it started when at 13 years old, I was gang raped. From then on I always latched onto my inner power. So, I always knew I was a survivor. Life was not going to get me down.
The Magic will always be my guide to remaining positive and grateful. As I read through the book The Magic, I became more and more excited about life. As I began to practice each gratitude practice the exact gratitude promise came true! I now realise that Life is Wonderful and I have the power to live God’s will into my life.
I spread the message of gratitude with everyone I meet. And each day, I meet amazing people. My next intention is to get my sons started on using their power to create their ideal lives. They could start living their intended lives now.
I am now on day 17 and I am excited by the outcomes of my life! Thank you Rhonda for sharing your knowledge with the world. God Bless you! I am truly grateful for your writing talent and all you have accomplished.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
