I’m an Indian, a 10th grader. Most of the people I know keep changing their ambition year after year. But I have had one ambition right from my childhood and that is becoming an Astronaut in NASA.

After I saw The Secret movie, I too wanted to make a vision board. So I used my desktop as a vision board. I made all the things I wanted in my life as slides and one of them was a picture of the NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC).

And within the next 30 days my school had organized a NASA Odyssey and decided to take 100 students. I really couldn’t believe what was happening, it was unintentional!

My parents wanted to send me but we were bankrupt. I just made myself believe that I was going to NASA.

The last day of payment came closer. They were still not ready to send me. I had always just focused on me going, I also tried attracting money, but frankly I wasn’t in alignment with the Universe and I could feel it. I really didn’t want to know the “how” of how I would go. I just believed that I’d go. I’d watched The Secret movie several times and also made my parents watch it.

And guess what?

The last day to make the payment, my parents were still not ready. I still had hope that I’d go and kept saying “Thank you” to the universe with my gratitude rock. I went to have a bath that morning and when I came out my mom said “We’ve decided to send you”. My payment and registration took place the same evening.

I have now since visited successfully and returned.
