I would like to start off my story by giving thanks to my mum for introducing The Secret to me last year as it has brought about many fantastic things into my life.

I am so happy right now, I feel as if my life is at it’s best! Recently I have so many assessments and exams (I know, they’re not as complicated as the HSC) so I have been extremely busy. I knew I had to try to fit everything in, so I kept thinking about The Secret and how I could apply that to my situation.

I have mathematics exams and I have not studied as much as I would have liked to, but I just know that I can still do really well with positive thoughts and imagining myself feeling calm about the exam and receiving great marks. So I took the test and guess what? I got only 1 mark off the full mark!

The Secret has helped me for other things as well. I applied to go to another school where it’s required to send in applications and documents and take an entrance exam. I was quite nervous because I had applied 2 months ago and the decision still hasn’t come out yet. But then I remembered The Secret. On the train in the mornings to school, I would imagine myself wearing the school uniform of that school I wanted to get into and carrying the bag. And I imagined my whole morning routine, waking up, washing, eating breakfast, getting dressed (with the new school uniform), and leaving home. I imagined walking into the gates of the school and going into a hall where there were other new students too and we talked and introduced ourselves.
At first I thought; “this is stupid, I won’t get in.” I would just get angry at myself.
But then I kept thinking about the joy of putting on that uniform and going to school in the mornings and I just kept thinking, “I go to that school, I belong there.”

Soon enough, I got a letter from the school saying I got accepted and that I have to confirm. Of course, my parents did on my behalf and we had to purchase the school uniform a few weeks later.

I am so grateful that I got into the school, it doesn’t matter if I was the last person to be on the acceptance list because I got in. I am so grateful that everything worked out and now my parents are extremely happy for me and I know that the new experiences at the new school will be exciting and something to look forward to!

Don’t give up. The end result is definitely worth it, just have fun with getting what you want, and always be thankful!
