Here is my story… in April of 2007, my husband and I found out our first born would have a heart condition that would require surgery. My husband then lost his job and began gambling. After my son was born, my other half was never around so I basically became a single mother with the stress of money on my mind, and on top of that, because of his condition, he always had to be held at birth, so you could never put him down.

A few months later I found out I was having another little one, which I was happy about, but the stress of money came down on me. Then we had the little one, and at three months he needed stomach surgery. My other half still was gambling, had no job, and he was never home, which made me worry about everything. I got sick with infections that would not go away.

By 2010, I was a very depressed, stressed woman, living at her parent’s with her two kids and other half, plus two sisters, in a small three bedroom duplex. At the end of July, I took the boys on a trip away. I was walking around when a tarot card and palm reading booth caught my eye. I have always been into that kind of stuff but never had it done for me. Anyway, I decided to get my palm done. The women told me that my aura was drained and I was surrounded by negativity and that I have a lot of money problems, and another half who is the main problem. She then told me to ask the universe for help and in six to eight weeks I would have an answer.

Two months later, I went to Frenchy (a second hand clothing shop) and there in the book bin was The Secret. It was the only book I really saw. I had to buy it, and I did. Since then I have watched the movie and our money problems are basically gone. I am healthy and unstressed.
