My son is doing his final year mechanical engineering. His aspiration is to get his MS for which a huge amount of money is required. He wanted to do a job for two years, save money and take up MS as we are not financially sound and we have also taken an education loan for his engineering.

His college organised for campus interviews but only for other careers, not mechanical engineering because the companies that come to his college for campus recruitment are all IT companies and they did not opt for mechanical engineering students.

I was worried as my son started feeling depressed as some of his friends who were in other branches of engineering are all placed in a few IT companies.

Last week there was an off campus drive where 6 colleges participated and this recruitment drive was conducted by an IT company where they opted Mechanical Engineering students also.

I had practiced The Secret and believed that some how my son will get placed in this IT company. With this belief, I told my son to participate in the off campus interview.

He gave his aptitude test last week and waiting for his result. I am sure he is going to get it and I kept on telling my mind that he will be placed in this company. After two days, early in the morning he told me that he is shortlisted and has been asked to appear for personal interview on the following Sunday.

On the day of interview, from the venue he messaged me that there are almost 1000 students for an interview and the interview questions are related to computer science and he got worried about how he would perform.

I told him that he is sure to get the job and told him to be confident. After the interview, I got busy in my routine and completely let go of the thoughts.

At about 1:50 pm, he called me from the college to tell me that he is placed in the company as the message was received by his placement officer!

There is no words to express as I practiced The Secret and believed and he is placed now. Though his interest is to go for a core company, now he and I will not be under stress as he has a job in his hands and I am sure the Universe will bring in a job from the core area which will be useful for his higher studies.
