We live in a small village in the middle of Sweden, there’s two schools in our village. One of them is specialized in children with ‘special needs’… my son has autism. (which is a whole different ‘secret-story’ 😉
Long story short, he got accepted to ‘the wrong school’. For three months I tried to get them to change their decision but every time I got: No. -The psychologist and teachers at his rehabilitation center all tried to talk to the principal. To tell her how much my son really needed this.. but No, it was IMPOSSIBLE.
But I always saw my son in ‘the right school’.. I never let my thoughts go to ‘impossible’.
But time was running out, school was about to start.. so.. I wrote on Facebook: “My son goes to *the right schools name*” … 20 people congratulated us, 20 people ‘liked’ my status, at least 20 people BELIEVED he got accepted to THAT school…
Three days later, the principal called me and said: One child is going to move to another village.. so… your son is in!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
