The Secret seemed to find me magically. I heard about it from everyone around me, in passing conversation, on TV and radio and through my friends. Once I finally watched the video I knew I had drawn it to me. I wanted answers and was filled with dreams. I now practice gratitude everyday, run through my days before bed and relive the blessings I experienced. One thing I have a lot of fun with is, I sing a little song while getting my mail “checking the mail for checks in the mail” and I have received several checks for no reason at all.

When I start my day determined to practice The Secret I can manifest really quickly. I worked as a server at a restaurant and one day I convinced myself that it was going to be a great night. I would mentally ask for the exact tip I would like to get on each of my tables and they were always that or over! To top off that great night I thought I want to get a dessert but I can’t finish a whole one by myself. Not an hour later a co-worker came up to me and said she had half of THAT dessert that she could not finish, she gave it to me!

It helps that living the practices of The Secret make me feel good. I never say anything negative about myself or others. In fact just repeating the word skinny while standing in front of my mirror has caused me to lose 3 dress sizes without changing my eating habits!

After struggling with being happy in my job, I stated aloud one day on my way to work, “I would like my new career to show itself to me within the next 2 weeks”. Not even 2 weeks went by and a woman sat at a table at the restaurant I work at and stated I was just the type of person that would fit in great with the company she worked for. She asked if I was looking for a “career change”. Unbelievable! Needless to say I now work with her and love it.

My sister and I work to keep each other positive and my 11 year old nephew has picked up some “Secret” skills. One day he stated “I would like $10 within the next few days”. He quickly forgot about it and went about his business. A short time goes by and he explains how he found a $10 bill on the ground while at school He did the right thing and took it in to the school office but no one claimed it and he got to keep it. I reminded him that he had asked for it and his eyes were wide with astonishment. I wish I knew about this at that age.

My boyfriend has benefited from my believing in the law of attraction. Each day he repeats that “today is a good day” and he said it helps to make his job better.

The biggest benefit I’ve gotten is I can see the positive in everyone and every occurrence and I truly believe that only good things are in store for me.
