IndiaI am an international student in Australia. My story is about how I got a passing IELTS band score that seemed impossible to many.
Hey everyone.
I am an Indian student who is currently studying in Australia. After finishing my course, I had to get scores of 8, 7, 7, and 8 in the IELTS exam to apply for my permanent residency here. And all international students will know and agree about how difficult it seems at first. After three attempts at the exam, when I still could not get the required score, I started losing hope. However, somehow, I kept saying to myself that I just had to keep going because there was no other option. Everyone was saying it was so hard.
Finally, in my next attempt, I got my score in 3 sections, L 8.5, R 7.5, and S 8 ), but I still stuck with a 6.5 in the writing section. I had one more opportunity to give a retake for just the writing section.
I really worked hard on my writing skills and gave my retake after one month. I practiced being grateful. I prayed to God. I took some screenshots of the success stories of the many students who got 8 in IELTS, and I would read them every day.
And I got 7.5 in the writing section!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
To all those international students who are reading this, I am one of you guys, and I can really relate to you when it comes to getting bands in IELTS or PTE. We are all together in this. Just keep going, have faith, and you can no doubt do it for sure.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
