One year ago I upped and moved to Georgia because I was running away from my problems, a bad relationship, emotional and physical abuse and debt.

I packed my 3 year old up and left hoping to find something better. I moved to Georgia only to have things get worse. I lost my job, the truck that I had for only one year and the nice condo I had just moved into.

So after a year of being there, I moved back to Minnesota to live with my mom. Living with my mother was by far one of the most challenging thing I have ever had to do. Here I was 25 years old with a 3 year old depending on my mother!

One day while on a social network I saw someone mention The Secret and out of no where I decided it looked like a interesting book and to read. FYI, I don’t read much.

After reading the book I bought the DVD and after watching it I was hooked! I went on to read The Power and so on! When I had moved back to Minnesota with nothing, no home and my son’s father left me for someone else, I had no job and didn’t know what to do with myself so I practiced The Secret!

I remained positive. I followed the laws of attraction and I gave when I didn’t have much to give!

One year later I am happy to say I am now employed by the government making more money than I have ever made before! I am engaged to the most wonderful man I could have ever known, I am starting my very own business come February 2015 and I am buying a home!

All these things I had put out into the universe that I wanted and prayed for. That I wrote about and spoke about as if I already had them.

And sure enough, I sit at my desk today writing you this story! It is real and I will continue to follow The Secret and it’s many teachings!
