So many amazing things have happened to me thanks to The Secret, but it wasn’t until the second time I read it that things started to happen. So if your first try isn’t successful, don’t give up hope.

The first thing I did was a quarter test. Because I live in Ireland, I knew that if I found a quarter it would definitely be due to The Secret. I visualized myself finding it; to make myself believe I already had it, I cut out a picture of a quarter and stuck it on a €2 coin, which I carried around in my purse. Less than a week later, I found it! Just sitting on the counter in my house, which is really amazing, since none of us have ever been to America.

Since then, I decided to use The Secret to make my life really perfect. I was having a hard time at school – my GCSEs were making me constantly stressed, especially art; anyone else who’s done that for GCSE knows how time consuming and panicking it is. But I kept repeating to myself, “This is easy, I have all the time in the world.” By the time it came to my exams I was totally relaxed. Every morning I would get up knowing I would get an A* in my exam – and I did. Every single one. This was without cramming or stressing; I just wrote my notes out, repeating to myself that it was easy while I did so.

It really is amazing what I’ve done with The Secret. From having hardly any close friends and no boyfriend, I attracted a big group of amazing friends and an absolutely perfect boyfriend. I was having a rough time with my family, but since reading The Secret the atmosphere at home has improved so much, and there hasn’t been a single fight in months.

Here’s a tip – when I read The Secret the second time I decided to really make a go of it, so I went and bought a notebook. Every night I would write at least one thing in it – I detailed how I wanted my life to be, I wrote down the things I would attract to myself, and most importantly I kept a running gratitude list. I also had a page of I AM, like in the book. I would write things like ‘I am confident,’ ‘I am smart,’ ‘I am popular,’ and in no time at all I attracted more and more friends. I find that the book really helped.

The Secret has made my life really amazing. If you are a parent reading this and your son/daughter is doing exams, please buy the book for them. I can’t tell you how much it has helped me.
