About 18 months ago a friend of mine gave me a copy of The Secret book. I was already reading a book so I put it with other books that I hadn’t read yet but intended to read. I forgot all about it.

Then, about 6 months ago I remembered it and took it out to read it. I was so engrossed and wanted to know more that I went out the next day and got the audio book so that I could listen to it in the car on my way to work. When I finished reading/listening to it I was not sure that it would work for me. I decided it to try it out. I didn’t have anywhere I could put a ‘vision board’ so I decided to create a ‘vision book’ instead. I got coloured pens and printed off pictures of everything I wanted. Some of them I knew were achievable and some I had no idea how they could possibly happen.

One of the things I put in my book was that I wanted a new career as I was stuck in a job that I didn’t like. I put down all the things that I wanted from my new career but I had no idea how it could possibly come about. I just had to believe. Less than 2 months later it was announced that the company I worked for was in trouble and I was going to lose my job. The Secret had started to work for me. Now I am back at college and working towards a career that I love.

Another thing I put in my book was a health issue which had bothered me for many years. It went away almost overnight! I was gobsmacked! I had tried all sorts of medications, been to doctors & specialists and none of it had worked. What actually worked in the end was “Thank you for my healing”.

I set goals around my health and fitness and achieved every single one of them.

I also described my perfect soul mate. For years I had been thinking about what I didn’t want and wondered why it kept showing up. I was also wondering “why am I still single?” so I was attracting still being single. I believe I will find my soul mate very soon. I believe in the power of the law of attraction – I have seen it first hand in many other areas of my life so to quote Lisa Nichols I have “a feeling of unwavering faith. I know like I know like I know that it’s (he’s) on it’s (his) way”.

I put many, many things into my vision book and to my astonishment they have practically all come true already. My life is so different now than it was 6 months ago. I am so much less stressed, I am so grateful for what I have. 6 months ago I read through the amazing stories on the website and hoped that The Secret would work for me and that I too would have a story to tell.

I am so excited about my new life and my future.
