I was introduced to The Secret in 2008, bought the book and watched the movie. This helped me in 2009 when my Mom was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I still remember the day when she phoned me from the laboratory and her voice was anxious. I couldn’t remember how fast I drove the car to pick her up and ACT as nothing existed and fake my reactions to calm her.

The appointment of her surgery was after two weeks from the diagnosis. During this period I was making efforts to make the atmosphere calm and normal but she didn’t help me. She was crying and distracted. Then I took my personal space and prayed hard daily for god to save her and bless her with all my senses. I still remember when I wanted to sleep, she couldn’t sleep and she asked me to sleep nearby her. While she was sleeping I was praying and closed my eyes. Then I dreamed of an inner voice telling me things will pass normally and not to worry.

I woke up with energy and in the day of the surgery I was focused on the inner voice I heard with my prayers. Finally she passed this period blessed and more comfortable. The Secret movie made me focus on asking believing and focus on the end result to be healed. And I visualized her being normal. Faith is important for the end result.
