Last year someone gave me a book called, “The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind”. I started reading this book and I started having some questions about it so I started to search for help from Youtube and Google. That is how I listened to The Secret and got to know about the law of attraction. I dug deeper into it to understand and I was really excited to realize that I had already manifested a couple of things in my life by visualizing. However, at the time I didn’t know what visualization was and how it was so connected with the law of attraction.

After a couple of days, I started looking for a job as I wasn’t happy with my current job. My company’s situation was volatile and there was no job security. With that in mind, I started looking for jobs but unfortunately, I was not getting any good options. Some companies were small or unstable, some would not give me a salary hike, others had profile issues, etc. I was disturbed to see the job market.

One day I was sitting down and was feeling upset. So I started watching LOA videos and decided to start practicing it. I closed the doors of my house as there were so many kids playing and making noise. Then I got myself into a peaceful corner in my room and started doing meditation for a few minutes to bring my mind to a calm state. I took out my diary and set the intention for,  “What I need” which was my goal. I wrote the description of my desired job, my salary hike, and the date of manifesting my desire. I read what I wrote out loud so that I could hear it and then I closed the diary and trusted the Universe.

The next day I made an action plan to reach my goal. I trusted that the Universe had my back and that I was going to get what I needed. I started following the action plan and started applying for jobs to the best of my capacity. I changed a few things in my CV. I updated my profile on portals and I was also doing affirmations 4 times a day. I did them and felt my good emotions and though I would visualize, I never kept myself holding on to the outcome. I just believed that I would manifest my desired job.

After a few days, I got a call from my current organization. They said that they were ready to offer me the job that I had wanted. I was interviewed for it and they were also offering me my desired pay hike in the package. All that happened just a day prior to the date that I had written down in my diary for it to happen!

There was another amazing thing that happened with this job. In those days I was so obsessed with the Macbook and I wanted to have one for myself. I just created a thought, a belief, that after getting hired in my current organization that I would be getting a Macbook, and again, I manifested it!

That was the first time that I deliberately used the law of attraction to get what I wanted and ever since then I have become a huge believer of the Universe. I am so happy with my current job! Even during the pandemic when other people were losing their jobs, in my organization there was not even so much as a salary reduction!

All I wanna say is that if you ask anything of the Universe and then start trusting it right from the next moment, you will get what you asked for. Just trust the Universe and the Universe will have your back.
