Thank you, thank you, thank you Rhonda for The Secret, The Power and The Magic.

These books have truly transformed me into a positive, grateful, optimistic person. Today I can unabashedly say I love myself the most!

I am now just waiting my turn to read Hero, which I had gifted my mom on her birthday. I just know reading it will just add to my list of success stories.

This is a story of how the LOA helped me manifest a journey abroad! I had never been abroad, and long held the desire to visit someplace abroad. However along with the desire, I also had a story going along in my mind on why I could not go abroad. So, you guessed it right, since my focus was on the opposite of what I desired that is what I got!! The universe said “Your wish is my command”!!

In 2012 when I read The Magic I made a list of my top ten desires and this was one of them. Among the places I wanted to visit, foremost were Singapore and Dubai as they do not cost much from India. Somewhere in late 2012, I started focusing on both these places and had wanted to go to either of these places by mid 2013. However it didn’t get manifested and I was disappointed.

Then one fine day it struck me that I was getting the LOA all wrong. I wasn’t clear myself, which of these two places I wanted to visit and so was sending confusing signals out! Also I was trying to solve the “how”. I was applying for various job opportunities in these places as I thought that would be the way for me to go abroad. Then it hit me hard. This is not how The Secret works.

Just ask, believe and receive.

In Sept 2013, I started focusing only on Dubai. I set the wallpaper on my computer screen to a picture of a building of Dubai with beautiful surroundings. I also created a power point presentation of pictures of Dubai and on my mobile I set the dual clock with the second clock showing me the time of Dubai. Once I did this I let go and let the Universe decide the “how”.

And the universe always knows the quickest and shortest way!

Sometime in November, my father told me he is making plans for a trip to Dubai and places around it and asked if we would be interested in going along.

You bet I grabbed at the opportunity!

Come Jan 2014 I go on my first trip abroad along with my parents and kids. Aha! I didn’t know that it was that simple.

Just let go, have faith and everything falls into place.

This is just one story of success. I have so many more to post but I will leave that to some other time. Right now I am busy visualizing all the places I will see there and also of meeting some of my old friends who now live in Dubai!!
