My Green Light.

I can go on and on with the number of success stories I have using the law of attraction and The Secret, both before and after knowing what they were. Thank you Rhonda and team for the amazing work you did in bringing this understanding into the foreground.
Though I have had many success stories including getting jobs, scholarships, monetary gains, the kindness of strangers, and loads of travel, I kept procrastinating about posting my stories. But I thought that today, I will share one of the short stories with everyone.
Recently, I have been feeling a little stuck in life, having the feeling that a few of my desires are farther than my reach.
Somehow the ideas, teachings, and understanding of the law of attraction were taking a back seat. Trying to come out of this downward spiral to break this pattern was so overwhelming that I kept on falling back to my old frozen state rather than taking any action.
So, a few days ago I was listening to some recordings of Wayne Dyer, Abraham, and How The Secret Changed My Life audiobook. I decided that I would take small steps and I would be OK with myself even if I did not make it through the day.
The night before yesterday I went to bed listening to How The Secret Changed My Life and it gave me a sense of hope. You can say that I went to bed feeling happy.
I woke up the next day a little bit earlier so that I could meditate for 15 minutes or so and prepare for the day. I woke up to a beautiful sunrise, with a pink and orange sky. My meditation lasted maybe 10 minutes and then morning coffee and a few hours of work.
The day was going on but then something at work happened and I was completely off that good feeling path. Only one thing was different this time. I was OK with it. I was OK because I tried and I made it this far. Also because I understand that if I react negatively I will push back my progress.
So, I started yesterday morning but did not even last 10 minutes due to work, family, and other things. But yesterday night, I decided to read and listen to the LOA teachers. I watched my favorite movie, and I made sure I was in a happier mood when I went to bed.
So, this morning I woke up early, looked at my phone, and saw a few not-so-good emails. I decided that now is not the time for it and I can’t do anything about it. So I continued my meditation, went for a short walk in the beautiful weather, and then I decided to listen to my favorite song. That then made me want to list out what I am grateful for; the sunrise, my cup of coffee, my health, my work, my family, my friends, and so on.
Once I was sure I was feeling joyous, I decided to thank one of my cousins who was mad at me for something and I had been trying to mend the relationship. So, I felt thankful for her and all the fun times we had together.
Long story short, she called this evening and we talked everything out and now we are back to normal! I did not think about her or the journal, I wished and let it be!
The main point of my writing this story is that if you feel stuck and unable to make a change, I hope my story helps you a little like so many other stories here that inspired me. A few takeaways would be:
Have faith. Ask help from the Universe for even the smallest things. If you can’t add positivity then at least don’t add negativity to your desires, i.e. only think about it when you feel good or don’t have any opposing thoughts about it. Trust, let it be, and you tend to your joy!!
Take small steps and don’t be mad at yourself for not being able to succeed on the 1st or 50th or 1000th try. You are doing your best at this moment so be patient and keep trying!! Even if the first small step is just taking 10 minutes for yourself before the day starts. Meditation and gratitude are very powerful tools.
And once you start, keep looking for your green light!! Those small, positive reassurances that you can allow right now to flow into your life. Let them be enough for now and build on those. Do not give up.
