I was laid off a rather hum drum job in 2011 and read The Secret, watched the movie and printed several of the “Gifts”. Recently I was looking for a document on my laptop and found the letter I had written based on The Secret instructions. It goes like this, “I am so happy and grateful now that I have my dream job. I make a lot of money and have excellent benefits. I am respected and looked up to by my coworkers and boss. My husband and I get along great and we laugh a lot.”

There’s more but when I found this letter, I realized it had actually come true! I was working a boring, low paid job in a very unhappy environment. I received a call from a previous employer, offering me more money than I had ever made before with an international company with excellent benefits. I had computed what would be my dream salary but did not tell anyone. The amount I was offered was  more than my best dream!

I’m going to revise the letter to include some current circumstances but I was amazed that I’d received not just what I thanked the Universe for, but even more than that. Keep practicing The Secret and you will achieve your best results.
