My GCSE grades
I recently received my GCSE results, which I am very grateful for.
After reading the Power, I decided to put it into practice. My mum helped me make posters for each subject with the grade I wanted to achieve (As and A*s obviously!). I stuck them all on my bedroom wall, where I could see them every day. Every morning before going to school, I visualised my grades and believed I had already achieved them. It felt great!
During my exam period, where I would usually be panicking and stressing out, I was actually really calm. Even while sitting my exams, I would be smiling because I knew I had my results already.
Finally, the day of my results came and I tried my best not to get all anxious, which was a bit hard as my friends were so negative about it. I opened my envelope and to my surprise I got 2 A*s, 4 As and 4 Bs.
I was disappointed because they weren’t the grades I imagined and automatically started thinking what went wrong.
Later that day, I found a sheet which had written on it all my predicted grades from my teachers. It was then that I actually realised how well I did. I had exceeded ALL my target grades! I was so caught up in seeing As and A*s all the time, that in my mind I thought that having a B was a bad thing! When actually getting Bs is amazing!
There were many subjects I was struggling with, so The Secret helped me achieve results I never thought I could get. I learned that just because you didn’t get exactly what you want straight away, doesn’t mean the universe isn’t working for you. It is. You just have to keep faith, and the whole world will be on your side.
This year I will be starting my A levels. I now know what I need to do in order to pass my exams with flying colours. I just need to be grateful for my education, as there are children out there who would do anything to achieve one.
Massive thanks to Rhonda Byrne who has helped me see the world in a different light. I have come to attract small things like not missing the bus to bigger things like passing my GCSEs !
Thank you !
And remember.. whether you think you can or think you can’t, you are right.
