My Fan Fiction Story Came true.
I’m a fan of this particular band. I’m not the type to write fan fiction, which is basically fantasy stories of being around the particular celebrity/band/singer you like. But I was excited for an upcoming concert, so I decided to let my wandering mind just put it into writing. Naturally as I wrote, I was experiencing the feelings to go along with it.
I wrote about being in an after-party in a luxurious setting, high atop Manhattan and seeing my favorite band member sipping a glass of wine and admiring the view. I was enjoying being around them and the fancy setting.
About a year later, thanks to one of the band members, I was able to get into an exclusive after-party that was invite only. This place is known to be the hardest bar to get into in NYC. As I was on the top floor of this fancy hotel, I saw my favorite band member. He was sipping wine and staring out the floor to ceiling windows. I was admiring him and that I was in such a nice place with them. I had the time of my life and was incredibly grateful for that opportunity.
At the time I didn’t realize it, but a couple months later I was looking through my files, and noticed my fan fiction story was exactly how that party turned out! My mouth dropped when I realized how accurate it turned out to be. I have used LOA many times, but this is the only time I didn’t intentionally use it when it did work out! It does happen, people. Have faith!
