In 2007 I was given a copy of The Secret from a person I had just met the same day. That same evening I watched The Secret and was in amazement. Right away I started to apply the principles laid out in The Secret. Nothing big was happening but I kept my faith up and every day I would thank the creator for everything in my life.

Then, in September 2008 I felt the need for a vacation. I wrote these exact words in my daily journal: “Take a luxury vacation to Jamaica.” Now I had no money for this trip or planned any means and ways of taking this trip, but the urge for this trip kept at me and I started to visualize myself and my kids staying at a luxury hotel in Jamaica and having the time of our life.

Move on now to June 2009, 8 1/2 months later, and my favourite radio station was giving away an all-inclusive trip for two to Jamaica, and all you had to do was call or text when they played a certain song during the course of the day. I knew this was a sign from the universe. The day was June 10th, 2009, and here I was on the phone with a person from the radio station informing me that I was this morning’s winner of an all-inclusive trip for two to a luxury resort and spa in beautiful Jamaica. Clearly the LAW OF ATTRACTION at work here.
