I began reading ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne recently and it really inspired me. When I was reading this book I recalled my memories and thought to myself how I had applied the law of attraction unknowingly, and how it had brought me what I had wanted.

My story begins with a social networking site where I met this unknown guy who changed my life forever. He was a real handsome man that I met online one day and we had a simple chat together. After a glance at his pictures, I thought that he was really good looking and I felt really attracted to him. We didn’t know each other, he was far away, he was a seaman and I was a banker, yet we felt an instant attraction towards each other. Ever since that day what ran through my mind was that I’d love to marry this man!

I kept visualizing marrying him each day. I kept firmly believing that we would marry one day, just as he got back from the ship. Here, in my culture, parents are involved with our marriages so I was thinking that no matter what barriers might come on our way, I will marry him. I kept visualizing, believing and then I was feeling gratitude, always thinking, thank God I met this man online.

Then finally, we were able to marry after he got back from the ship and now we live together happily married! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

‘The Secret’ really made my dreams come true. When you firmly believed in what you want and when you keep visualizing what you want you will receive it one day. Our minds adjust to what we think and eventually, it will take us towards the receiving end. Always ask, visualize, believe, show gratitude and finally receive.
