I wanted to be a translator since I was a junior school student, however, I always felt that it was not easy to be a translator and make a living only doing the translation jobs. Therefore, I chose to be an English and Russian teacher at a high school right after graduation. I like my students and enjoyed teaching both languages, but I felt empty and this emptiness never disappeared.

One day, on my way from work, I dropped by the DVD shop I often go to, and rented a DVD named “The Secret”. The DVD told me that one can get anything they want in life. Inspired by the film, I decided to do what I really want to do in my life. I decided to make some preparations to be a translator. I started to take English lessons after work. At first, I had a hard time translating from Japanese to English, but gradually I got used to doing it. When I felt that my English writing skills were improving, the teacher who teaches us English asked me to help him with his translation jobs. I was very happy to know that. Although, my English skills have a lot to be desired, I will make efforts and train myself to be an excellent translator.
