My Challenge Is My Power.

SyriaI am a woman, 57. I move to Sweden in 2005 and I have 2 children. I am living in Gothenburg.
Hello,
I am so happy to share my story here. I believe that all of us have power inside ourselves, a belief that is shared in The Secret. Now, here is my challenging story.
I was born in a small and remote village in my homeland. I was one of nine siblings, the seventh among them. When I finished the sixth grade, my father told me, “I can’t send you to school,” due to our financial situation and the lack of opportunities in our small village.
I was deeply saddened because I loved studying. After several years, I noticed a decline in my reading and writing skills. When I turned 16, I started questioning myself, “What can I do?” The answer was to challenge myself and study on my own. I decided to study the ninth grade curriculum at home and then take the exam. I failed in the first and second years, but in the third year, I passed the exam and obtained my certificate.
I then prepared for high school and decided to study on my own at home again. It was the same story; I did not succeed in the first and second years, but in the third year, I obtained my high school diploma.
After struggling for several years, my father sent me to the city of Aleppo, Syria, to attend college and study Nursing. After working at the hospital, I pursued my dream of a good education and studied law at the University of Aleppo.
In 2005, I moved to Sweden, where I have two beautiful children and live a very good life. Nothing is impossible when you take responsibility for your own life. Never give up on your dreams; when you believe in yourself, nothing can stop you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you so much.
