I want to express my gratitude to Rhonda ma’am and the entire team of The Secret. Lots of love to all my fellow Secret followers who post their amazing stories here. This story is about my career.

I was always a bright student and a topper in school and college. I completed my Engineering degree in 2016. I had a job offer at that time through the campus placement. But after completing my graduation, I never received a joining letter from this company. I waited and waited and there was no response. Everybody started asking me about my job. They used to ask me what is the use of me having good grades if I could not secure a job. I started feeling terrible as my other mates started getting good job offers when I was still waiting 8 months after my graduation.

I had heard about The Secret back in 2014. I had tried using it for weight loss back then but it didn’t work so I just forgot about it. Now, I again came across The Secret and I started using it. Still nothing happened. Then I found The Power Audiobook. I started listening to it daily. There was a story of a girl who was in the same situation as mine. So I did exactly what she did. I planned what clothes I would wear to my job. Every morning I would give thanks for my job. When my parents used to say to me, “What about that job you applied for” or “Have you heard anything back” or “How many more days will this continue?”, I would just reply calmly that it will happen, don’t worry. Previously, I used to apply for jobs feeling lots of desperation while waiting to hear back from them. Now I just deleted all the job hunting apps.

One day while I was at my cousin’s wedding, I received a call from a company that I had applied to earlier, I did not even remember when. They scheduled me for an interview. I got through it and started working on the same day. This process took a week to be precise.

So I was working at this job, but it was a startup company. The money was OK but the people were horrible. It was not exactly what I asked for. I completed 2 years there and started looking for a new job. I got another job in a good company and I also got an 80% income hike. The people were so nice there but I still was not happy. I needed more.

After a year I again started looking for a job. It was during the pandemic situation and everyone kept telling me to keep the job I already had, I won’t get any other job or better pay. But I still continued my search. I clearly remember asking the Universe to get a 10 LPA package. So I was giving interviews But I still wasn’t getting any responses. I prepared more. I wanted a real big company this time.

Out of nowhere, I got a call from one of my dream companies. My skills were exactly what they were looking for. They scheduled my online test on the same day. I got the test results back the next day and they immediately scheduled my 2 rounds of interviews. I cleared both of them and they were impressed by me. I got confirmation from them that I was selected, on the same day as my results. And the package they offered me was 9.68! Isn’t that amazing! That was almost a 60% hike, even during a pandemic!

Also, one more thing. I wished to get a job in Pune City so that I could live on my own and enjoy my life. And it just so happens that the job was located in Pune City!

So yeah, finally I am really happy with my career. In just 3 years I went from a 2.4 to a 9.68 package and I am super grateful for it. If anyone of you has watched the “Lucifer” series, then you might know a dialogue from it that says, “God has a plan for us.” I truly believe in that. Have faith. The Universe always falls in love with a stubborn heart.
