First off, I’d like to thank Rhonda Byrne for making the Law Of Attraction such an easy read and discovery through The Secret. I’d also like to thank everyone who makes their story contributions here. Your stories give many the sometimes much needed belief that LOA is real and that it never fails. Thoughts become things.

I was first introduced to The Secret by my a really good friend of mine in 2008. Back then I was still too young and wild to pay much attention to it’s teachings. My friend and I had a major falling out in 2012. Early in 2016 I was going through a rough patch and I was seeking answers. I was to learn later that LOA responds whether or not you are aware. This is surely what happened as after one particularly tiresome day, while wondering what to do, the Universe responded. Quite literally ‘out of the blue’ the friend I had fallen out with sent me a Facebook message. We hadn’t spoken in over 4 years but the message within the message was the answer I so needed. I was clear in what I needed to do.

I made some major changes in my life. After, we kept in touch and reconnected. Through one of our daily conversations, The Secret came up. I remembered that I had the book and the DVD somewhere in my house. That evening I watched the DVD and it was like nothing I can describe. I was amazed, thrilled, excited, and most of all, happy. It all made sense now. I had always had questions that no one seemed to be able to answer. LOA did. I watched the DVD twice that night before going to sleep. The next day I carried the book with me and read it every chance I got. I went online and read and watched everything I could about LOA. I discovered Abraham and other LOA teachers. I felt glorious.

Part of the teachings I started applying to my life daily are ‘I Am’ positive affirmations and meditation. I also have a gratitude journal which I fill out daily. I created a visual board of what I know I will manifest soon. I look at my board every single day and visualize myself with my manifestations. It brings me such joy knowing that everything I desire is within reach. My alignment with my new major manifestations is near. I know it. I can feel it.

I have since manifested lots of things. Some big and some small. My most recent manifestation however takes the cake. I manifested a trip to a very lavish resort here in Kenya. Last Friday was my birthday. I’m not usually big on making much out of my birthdays. My last really big birthday celebration was eight years ago when I turned 30! This year however, I wanted something different. Something special to say the least. I also wanted my 4 year old daughter to be a part of the fun. I knew I could not afford something elaborate but this did not stop me from putting my order out into the Universe, believing with everything that I am, that I had received it and letting it go. I continued with my daily gratitude list, my ‘I Am’ affirmations and meditation.

The LOA never fails! A few days before my birthday I reconnected with another dear friend. He asked me not to make plans for my birthday as he had ‘something special’ planned. On the day, he took my daughter and I to a really lavish out-of-town resort for the day. We spent the day having fun and getting pampered. It was such a wonderfully special, beautiful day. To top it all off, I didn’t have to spend a cent. I was so grateful to him and most of all to the Universe.
