I’m a freshman in Beijing, and I wanted to share something really amazing which happened on my summer holiday.

My holiday was about two month long and the first thing I wanted to do is to get my ‘Driving Licence’, and then go for a visit to Hong Kong with my friend. So I called my driving school to make sure of my test time, after that, I booked a room on hostel.com to make sure my friend and I have a place to stay when we arrive there.

So everything went on well until the test-day finally arrived! I’m both excited and nervous. I took the school bus and when I got there I went to the restroom first. Something happened when I came out of the restroom, I tripped myself over and BROKE MY RIGHT FOOT!!!

OMG! I didn’t know what to do so called my mom and she picked me up and we went to the hospital at once. Luckly the doctor said, “It is fine, you didn’t hurt the bone, but it will take almost two months to recover.” This meant it was quite impossible for me to go to Hong Kong. That was disappointing, and I was totally frustrated.

Through those painful days I had nothing to do but surfing the internet, and that was when I saw the book right before my eyes, “THE SECRET”. Why not read it again, and maybe it’ll help me recover sooner? So I read it again and after this book I turned to “THE POWER”.

It was so amazing! After reading the books my foot seemed to become better, and better, day after day! And I began to feel better about myself and about my foot. I watched the videos and pics when I hung out with my sister before the accident, and started to think that I’m in that state right at that moment. I started to use the words “THANK YOU” more often than before, and most importantly, I started to think POSITIVELY.

Things do change when your attitude changes. I soon recovered and could WALK again. This meant I could go to Hong Kong this summer! I was very grateful! So as I planned, I went to Hong Kong and had a really fantastic time there with my sister.
After coming back from my trip, I went to finish my driving test, and it went very well. I PASSED it without any difficulties!!! I’m a driver now!!!
