Mustang GT

Maryland, FT. MeadeI'm in the military and am on my way to being retired before 30!
I have always wanted a really nice fast car, so when I got to my tech school in Texas I bought a 1966 Ford Mustang. Now I know what you’re thinking, that it was a nice car, but I bought it when it didn’t run and it needed many, many things for it to be a reliable car. After many failed attempts I was having no luck in fixing it. A year later I drove it up to my new duty station in Maryland (and the mustang made it up there by the grace of God). I new that it got really cold in Maryland, so I needed a new car with an AC and heater, and one that was more reliable. So I decided that I wanted a newer Mustang. Even though everyone at work and even my parents were against it, I still went looking for one. I looked everywhere, even in other states, but it was either out of my price range or out of my mileage range.
One day my friend said his Mom bought me a book called The Secret, so I read it and it inspired me to believe that I already had my Mustang. Every night I would imagine me shifting the gears and flying through traffic in it, I could feel the shifter nob in my hand and hear the roar of the engine.
I found a blue Mustang – it was an 04 and it had aftermarket exhaust on it. I applied for a loan and got approved, but the bank wouldn’t let me get it due to the dealership wanting more than what it was worth. I was kinda getting discouraged, but I still believed. It wasn’t even the body style I liked, anyway, I said.
I drove and came to this back area car dealership. There was no Mustang in sight. A guy came up and asked, what are you looking for? I said an 05 through 08 GT with manual transmission. He said to come back tomorrow, because he was going to an auction to get some new cars for the lot.
The next day I went there and they said that they bought an 05 GT with manual transmission and they were driving it up here. I was like, wow… this is really working. Then he pulled up in it. I was shocked – it was in perfect condition, it was all white with red leather interior and a stick shift. It was just what I wanted. I asked how much it was going to be and he said 15,000. I was amazed again – you wouldn’t be able to find a car like this for that price anywhere.
I drove to my bank to get a loan, hoping they would loan me more because they originally were only going to give me 15,000 but it was going to be around 17,500 with taxes and all. I got there, and they gave me more money. Now I have the car I’ve wanted and at a price I could afford, even though no-one believed me. How many 20 year olds have a 2005 mustang GT? Not many. My new goal for the Secret is 2.5 million dollars.
