Rochester, Kent UKBorn in a northern town in 1965. Interesting life living in UK.
Born in a northern town in the 60’s where girls are brought up to be shop assistants or secretaries. Because I was ambitious I was often bullied or put down or classed as crazy.
Every time I started a business since 16 years old, it did well, but I listened to the wrong people. But in 2004 I stopped listening to everyone about my limitations and listened to myself. And from 2004 – 2007 my companies did really well.
My second husband died, but I continued on and did well, as I knew that would have been his wish.
In 2009 I remarried an old friend, but 5 days after getting married his mother took ill and I became a caretaker and thus my life changed. Losing my business and home by being a caretaker to my mother in law.
In 2011 my third husband died. I continued to look after my mother in law, but by 2012 I could not cope and my body started shutting down. I was contemplating suicide, but knew it was wrong. I just could not see any other way out. I had truly had enough.
Then I remembered a movie I had heard of years before, and I thought I would watch it. The Secret.
That night I slept well, the next day I sought medical help and started to unravel the ball of problems surrounding my life and started focusing on what I do want.
Suddenly I was moving forward. My health started to get better, my health and my business.
2013 and in the space of one year I have gone from having no hope and no money to going to incorporate my company in Delaware on November 4th, and by January 2014 we will be supplying companies in USA and bringing more jobs back to the UK. Within 18 months we will be trading in Canada and other countries.
Failure is not an option and I see a clear way forward. There may be hurdles, but I am holding steadfast, keeping good records and planning my goals each night and smashing through them the next day.
Even if no one reads this, I would just like to thank you for changing my life, and you have to keep pushing this movie forward. It will save lives. It saved mine, it gave my son his mum back and it will create jobs in USA and UK and Canada.
That is some butterfly effect and I pay it forward every day.
