IndiaA grateful being and a wonderful creation of the Universe.
Hello, perfect beings! My sincere gratitude to the Universe, Rhonda, and to all who have posted their stories here. You have been a formidable source of hope and inspiration.
My story is a long read, but it has what most of you are looking for. Especially for the lovely souls seeking jobs and wanting to know that job is yours.
I enrolled for my second Master’s in a G8 university in Australia after quitting my job right before Covid 19 hit in 2020. My dreams of traveling overseas were bleak as lockdowns were imposed. I began my course online, thanks to my father for suggesting that. During the second year of the degree, I found a job that was amazing in all ways. They even sent me on a training to Singapore!
I always wanted to travel to Australia to add some meaning to my international degree. I informed my office during my recruitment that I would be traveling to Melbourne after a year. I would work remotely from there whilst I was finishing my degree, and then I would come back. Things were going smoothly and I booked my flights and accommodation in Melbourne.
Just two days before my flight, I was called and told that there were legal issues if I worked online from Australia for an Indian company. I was shattered since they asked me to go on a long leave without pay until I finished my degree and then return to work. Working without pay was something unacceptable since I had to sustain myself in Australia. Furthermore, if I went on a long leave, then I could not be employed full-time in another firm in Australia since it would be dual employment and bring legal concerns.
Since there were no options left for me, I decided to quit my job and demanded that I be released without serving my notice. Fortunately, they agreed and did it.
Two days later, I was moving to a new country with no job and with just a little savings. I was thundered with thoughts about my future. But with great difficulty, I pulled myself together. Thank you to the Universe for that.
I then reached Melbourne only to find out that there are graduates who have been here for years without a stable job and my mind hit the clouds again. Thoughts of fear and anxiety hit me hard. I was beginning to lose myself again since I had just left a stable job and the comfort of my home, family, and friends.
That was when I just Googled ‘manifesting a new job abroad’. I was aware of manifestation and the power of our subconscious mind since I had read a few pages of the book, “The Power Is Within You” by Louise hay. I am forever grateful to her.
The second result of the Google search was a story by someone on The Secret website. I had never read The Secret before but had gifted it to a friend of mine since she wanted it. It is amazing how close and yet so far I was when I gave her the book! Anyway, I read the story and it gave me a sense of hope and joy, thanks to that amazing soul that shared it. I then watched The Secret movie several times and trained my mind to visualize, feel and think good and positive thoughts. I did that for the next two weeks and I applied for jobs online. I didn’t get a callback and even at supermarkets, my resume was being rejected since I was overqualified. I still had faith in the Universe and the process and went on with applying for jobs and asking friends for references.
One day I called my friend and she told me that her roommate’s company was hiring. She asked me to send my resume and apply for the post online. Two days later I got an email saying that my application was shortlisted. I was bewildered and thanked the Universe for this to happen.
I then began to visualize that this job was mine and started a gratitude journal. I was first asked for a telephonic interview that went well, and then a second round that went equally well. However, the final round with the executives was difficult and I thought I did not make the cut. I was getting anxious and started holding onto my desire with a tight grip. The feeling of anxiousness is something that you must let go of when you want to manifest something since it is a ‘low’ vibrational state and can delay your manifestations. It creates resistance because it is opposite to the feeling of having what you want. I knew for a fact that my mind would hold onto it no matter what.
Six days after the interview there was still no response from the recruiter and my mind was unable to hold onto the feeling of what I was visualizing and I thought the job was no longer mine. However, I did affirm that the Universe is the one whom I trust. I shouldn’t have felt anxious and I should have just let it go to the Universe because the moment I asked for my desire to be fulfilled, the Universe began working on it. I need not worry about the when and how. All this realization occurred to me on day 6 and day 7 after the interview.
On day 7 after learning more about letting go, I began writing in my gratitude journal. While I was writing in it, I got a call from HR and she said that they want me on board!! I was frozen with happiness that the Universe loves me and nurtures me.
My mind and heart reached an ecstatic state and I was filled with gratitude for the Universe. My eyes were brimming with tears of joy as I received the news. All of this in less than 4 weeks after my arrival in a foreign land. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so very much, Universe. Thank you so, so, so much!
Believe and have faith in the Universe, my people. You are a special being here for a reason and your desires are going to be fulfilled. I am sure your lives are going to be filled with wondrous happenings. You deserve it so just keep believing.
Thank you for reading.
