I am a stay at home mom, my husband is the only one that works to pay our family financial responsibilities. He works at a hotel. Recently the hotel started going under some renovations and his hours has been cut down to hardly making a few hours a week.

We were started to fall short on our bills and most frightening, our rent. We were late and spoke to the apartment complex and they extended a few days to us, however we still did not have enough when he got paid. We were short and could not make the full amount. Also we could not make the payment on my car insurance so the payment was going to bounce.

I starting praying to God asking to deliver $500 to us to make up for the balance. I kept thanking and seeing myself going to pay my rent at the office.

I had no clue where the money would come from but I never stopped. I remember in The Secret it said you don’t need to know how, but you should just trust. I never stopped praying and thanking, doubt would kick in sometimes, but I stayed firm.

When the day came to pay the rent there was still no money. My husband went to the office to let the landlord know and asked him if he could pay what he have. The landlord said no proplem but gave him a date to pay the balance. I did not accept that would be the end result, so I continued to pray and believe that we were going to pay our rent in full.

Later in the evening, my husband went for a walk. On his way back he brought in the mail and sat it on the counter next to me. I was washing the dishes and glanced at the pile. On the pile I saw one letter that stated “REFUND NOTICE”. I asked him to open it and see what it was.

Lo and behold it was a check from an old bank account I closed 8 years ago for $460.87!!!!

I could not have imagined that! I started running up and down the hall like a crazy woman saying thank you, thank you, thank you God!

I had a nudge to check the mail earlier in the day when I went for a walk with my little toddler son but I just brushed it off. If I had listened I would have paid my rent in full just as I had wished for.

Not only that, but my friend also sent me a Paypal amount for $100, so in total I received $560.87, more than what I asked for!!

The Secret works, your mind will bring in thoughts to tell you that you are crazy or how are you ever going to get your dream when you see no way, but don’t listen or pay attention to the doubts. It’s a trap and a distraction. Believe you are going to get your dream no matter what thought that tries to stop you.
