I have had the pleasure of knowing The Secret since 2010. I am a firm believer in the law of attraction. The last 10 years of my life have been nothing but amazing!! I especially want to share about what happened in the earlier part of this year, as miracles happened back to back at a furious pace, and took my breath away!

1. Shortly after the Chinese New Year, my mum had a minor stroke. She ended up being hospitalized for 1.5 months. I was concerned about how much the total hospital bill would come to. In the end, after government subsidy and using her medisave to pay off some of it, I ended up only having to pay about $600 out of a 5 figure bill!

2. Going to Finland was on my bucket list as I had wanted to see the Northern Lights. I had the trip planned for in March. Initially I thought I had to cancel it due to mum’s stroke but since it was minor, the trip went ahead as planned!

3. This trip happened just at the start of Covid 19. We were always the last group to visit an area or enjoyed an activity before the lock down began the next day. Thus, except for Sweden where we did not want to risk getting stuck for 14 days quarantine, we managed to strike off all the activities on our itinerary! I also got to see the Northern Lights!!!

4. Our flight back to Singapore was to be via Finnair on a direct flight. Due to Covid 19, 2 days before our flight back, we were told that the direct flight was cancelled and we had to transit via Bangkok. I was appalled by this as the Singapore government had announced that there is a compulsory 14 days SHN (Stay home notice) for people who come into Singapore via Bangkok, even if it were a transit flight.I am based in Cambodia for work and simply could not afford to do SHN as I had to return to Cambodia 2 days after coming back from Finland!

5. My tour guide’s hands were tied so I took it upon myself to go online to see what airlines were available. There were only 2 airlines available and it was either crazy expensive since everyone who were in Finland for holidays were desperately trying to head home before Finland lock-down began, or that the flight timing would have caused me to miss my flight back to Cambodia! I then found Qatar airlines, with 1 other friend and myself, we managed to get flights back to Singapore at a reasonable price and reasonable timing. I was elated!

6. It was crazy as I had not intended to bring my laptop along for this trip but I am glad I did. Checking out flights via a laptop was definitely easier and faster than if I had used my mobile. Also, since my flight transited through Doha, I did not have to serve 14 days SHN upon landing back to Singapore.

7. On the day of my flight home, the staff at the Qatar counter while doing our check in, informed the 2 of us that our flight was the last one out as Finland lock-down would begin the next day!

8. I then had a teeny weeny little setback. My HOD had informed me that due to Covid 19, my position was no longer required. I was very professional and polite, I seriously understood the challenges the company faced due to Covid 19. Even I was impressed at how calm I was about not having a job. However, in the afternoon on the same day, he called me back to inform me that I had my job back!

9. My initial flight was cancelled due to Covid, there was a mad scramble as I was supposed to fly back to Cambodia the very next day after I got his call! In the end, I managed to get flights back to Cambodia at a good price with check in luggage included too!

10. The next day at Changi airport, I was informed that I was on the last flight back to Cambodia before the Singapore government lock-down on all our borders!

11. In April, the Singapore government announced that they would give out Covid 19 aid and I received SGD $600.

The final part to my miracles story:

12. I was in a calm, contented state when I made my claims on the Chubb-Amex website. I had expected follow up emails from the insurance company as this was what my friends had to go through. Guess what?!? In less than 14 days after my reimbursement submission, I received an email notification from my bank informing me that I had been reimbursed $1159. This was the full price for my Qatar air ticket! No further questions had been asked. No submission of additional information required. It was such a smooth effortless process!!!

I had bought a one time Chubb-Amex insurance policy for my Finland trip. There were 7 other people who went to Finland with me. They had tried to get their respective insurance companies to reimburse them on the cancelled trip to Sweden only to be informed that their claims were denied. Even my friend who had flown back with me via Qatar airlines, she had signed on for a 1 year travel insurance policy but had hers denied too!

All this happened within a time frame of 1 month! Miracle after miracle had happened to me continuously. Miracles that others would have said were impossible and yet they happened! It did not matter what others say or feel. It did not matter what was happening to others. It is all within me. How I felt, and what I believed in. The Universe constantly conspires to give me everything I want and need!

I am extremely thankful and grateful for how the Universe has repeatedly shown me that it will always have my back! I am blessed to have known The Secret since 10 years ago! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so very much!
