As far as I can remember, I was always overweight ever since I was a kid. Growing up, I started to gain weight slowly but surely. For many years, I would try to lose weight. During the past 10 years, I have gained more than 30 kg or 66 pounds. That made for a total weight excess of about 45 to 50 kg or 99 to 110 lbs. Lucky for me, the weight is evenly distributed throughout my body and so I have a harmonious body shape and figure, even at the height of 5 feet and 6 inches.

A few days ago, I again was listening to the audiobook of The Secret and I watched a video by Louise Hay called Prosperity. Afterwards, I wrote down all the fears I had related to weight and how it would feel safe to be in shape and healthy. I felt and said words of gratitude to God and to each part of my body. Then, I just decided and affirmed that I would lose weight as easily as I used to gain it. And I would do it without even noticing it. People would start to let me know about my weight loss because I would not notice that I was durably losing weight. My mindset shifted and since then I have really felt at peace with myself.

Yesterday, my relative starting to ask me if I was on diet. So I decided to weigh myself and to my big surprise, I had lost 4 kg or 8.81 lbs! That is just crazy! I can’t believe it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
