I grew up in Africa with my mum, dad and 2 younger brothers. My mum died when I was a little girl. We had a very hard life after her death as my father worked a lot and was hardly around. Afterwards, about 10 years later, my dad died as well when I was in my teens. I had to look after my 2 brothers and things were so hard. We were homeless for a long time and continually had to beg for places to live. I almost went into prostitution to be able to survive. But thankfully, I found acting and that helped me pay the bills and put a roof over our heads.
I knew about prayers, believing and receiving but I didn’t understand it until I came across The Secret in London. By this time, I had made a bit of money to be able to travel to the United Kingdom in search of a better life. When I got to the UK, I had to struggle again. I was homeless again. A friend gave me his box room to stay in and my boyfriend told me about The Secret. And I began to put it to work, and in little ways, my life began to change. I got an acting job within minutes of activating a number I hadn’t used in so long. I got a facial for free and I got the right director for my movie. There are still a few things that I believe will happen for me and my brothers and when that happens, I will hopefully find you personally to say thank you as that is also one of my dreams. To meet Rhonda and your team. I want to be an inspiration to millions of people just as you have been an inspiration to me.
It was tough writing this as it opened up things in my heart again but I know I am going to be an inspiration and give hope to people and everything I passed through is for a reason. God bless you Rhonda and all the team and everybody who shared their story to inspire people like me. Thank you so much and I hope to meet you in person some day. Amen.
