Many thanks to all involved with The Secret and for allowing us to share with one another our amazing stories of successful use of the LOA. I have been personally inspired by countless stories of personal triumph in successfully applying the laws of attraction by the individual posts I receive in my inbox.

Last month the hot water tank in our home stopped working properly. Financially it was not an ideal time for us to replace it with a new one. So when we discovered that it was time for a new hot water tank I naturally I added that to my daily gratitude list. “I am so happy and grateful now that we have a free, brand new hot water tank installed by a professional.” I wrote that and read it out loud three times a day for about a week. Being a planner I had to get past my personal ‘planner’ thoughts of trying to figure out exactly how this new, free hot water tank was going to be professionally installed in our home. As learned from the DVD of The Secret, I knew that my job was simply just to believe and take action as guided. That we were already blessed with this amazing new free hot water tank, and the Universe would do the rest. So I faithfully believed as I read my gratitudes aloud three times a day.

Well, at the end of about a week I get a call from my husband who shared with me that some of our wonderful out of state friends had heard of our hot water tank situation. They had secretly tried to make arrangements with our local home improvement store to have a new hot water tank installed in our home! But, logistically it turned out they were unable to ‘surprise’ us as originally intended because everyone had to be on the same page as to most ideal install time, etc. Also, it turned out that there was a significant installation fee that neither the relatives nor ourselves had taken into consideration.

So the new hot water tank installation was put on hold for a day until the money for the installation fee was ‘found.’ That night I went straight to my daily gratitudes list and rewrote the one that said “I am so happy and grateful now that we have a free, brand new hot water tank installed by a professional” and made a slight very important adjustment by including the ‘free professional installation’ part. So the new gratitude read aloud as follows: “I am so happy and grateful now that we have a free, brand new hot water tank installed for free by a professional.” I even turned the page in my gratitude notebook for the next day and wrote the same thing on that page, just for good measure.

The following day we received a call from our friends. They said that they would gladly cover the entire cost of everything, including the professional installation!

Of course we are truly so happy and grateful that the Universe helped us to attract our ‘new, free, professionally installed for free’, hot water tank. I also learned how being specific matters, too. And we are so blessed to have such amazing friends who are always so caring. Thank you so much for allowing us to share our story, may it be helpful and bless others.
