I’m grateful to the Universe for making this happen. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I often imagine stories of things I want to happen in my life and feel them. This is one such story that came to life.

I always envisioned a story where I met a woman abstract expressionist artist at her art exhibition. She keeps staring at me while I watch her art. Then she sees how I see art, and we find that our favorite music, artists, writers, dreams, and passions are similar. Neither of us had gone to college. Her art would be extraordinary and unique, with a passion similar to that of Lee Krasner’s, a super genius and wild and passionate.

I met her at a Comic-Con event. She gave me my favorite painting of hers for free because she saw how much I admired it. She later asked if I liked it, and when I said yes, she simply insisted that I keep it. I felt deeply honored.

I saw her again at Comic-Con, and we spoke about art, poetry, literature, and theater. We found that we share similar tastes. She complimented my outfit and hugged me when I expressed my thoughts about her art. It turns out that she also never went to college, and we have similar reasons for not pursuing higher education.

This feels like a dream come true. I used to imagine this story every day and it feels incredible that it’s actually happening. I now believe in the power of making things happen, and I am incredibly grateful for this experience. Thank you so very much to the Universe! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
