I would like to share my experience about the SECRET. I consider myself to be a HUGE fan of actor Johnny Depp. I have been his fan since his first appearance on the movie A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET in which he portrayed the character GLENN LANTZ the boyfriend of the main character of the movie. At the time I was 16yrs old, then when he took on the role on FOX TV hit series 21 Jump Street, I continued to follow his career. Since then I have seen his outstanding work as an actor and have seen how much he has grown both as a person and as an actor, I love his sensitivity, his love for his family and kids, his genuine personality, humble, caring and down to earth. With Johnny what you see is what you get, there is no fake persona when he is in front of his fans, he loves and respects his fans as much as we love and respect him and that is why he is loved by millions worldwide.

Before I had even read the SECRET, I always used to think that good things and good luck always happened to others. Like when it came to meeting Hollywood celebrities, it always seemed like it always happened to someone else and not me. One day my psychologist let me borrow her SECRET book which was in Spanish for me to read it, she said “Just read it, am sure you will find it informative and very beneficial. I believe it will help you in realizing your potential and in taking the first step to believing in yourself more and loving yourself.” So with skepticism, I took the book home and started to read it, and read it, and read it, until I finished reading the whole book. I realized that all along I had always had the key to achieving whatever I wanted, that the only person that was holding me back was me, not bad luck, which I always had assumed was my case.

On Thursday April 3rd, 2008 I wrote on my diary my feelings for the day and the days event and I wrote ” I would love to meet Johnny Depp in person and have a chance to sit down with him and get to know him better”. Well, I didn’t get to sit down with him and chat but on Thursday April 2nd, 2009 I got my wish and I met JOHNNY DEPP in person. It was the most amazing day of my life, I thought I was going to pass out and just hit the pavement right in front of him but I didn’t, I got to see him, shake his hand, show him the tattoo I have with his name on it and take his photo. After one week I realized one thing, that the universe answered my wish. Sure it took a year for my wish to come true and for it to happen in real time but it made me think about one of the paragraphs on the SECRET, that when you desire something is like ordering from a catalog, you place your order and then wait for it to be delivered, without realizing it I placed the order and didn’t even give it a second thought or even bother to place the order again because the genie made sure that my wish was granted.

Now I’m a true believer that anything I wish for, anything I want can be and will be mine, all I have to do is order it and wait for it, the universe will take care of the rest. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share this experience with the world, I hope this will be an inspiration to others to have faith and just believe in the now. It sure worked for me and I will continue to apply to my daily life what I have learned from the SECRET and will pass on this wisdom for others to follow.
