This 2010 was a great year for me! I turned 15 and I had a great party, I was great in school, and my family is healthy and alive!

I’ve been a Jonas Brothers fan since almost three years. They’re my favorite band in the whole world! This year they came to my country, which was the greatest news, because I had waited long enough to watch them in concert!

I heard about The Secret because of my mom’s friend. I found it really interesting so I watched the movie. Since that moment, I started to attract that I was going to meet them. I kept that thought, and every time it became stronger! My friends used to tell me, “No way, you’re not gonna meet them,” “Give up on that, it’s impossible,” but I didn’t care because I had a lot of faith in what I saw and I really wanted to meet them!

A week before the show I got a mail in my Inbox from the Official Fan Club saying: “Meet & Greet contest.” I just saw it and it says: “This is a chance you have to meet the Jonas Brothers, if you’re watching them in Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica (my place)… (and a list of the places they were visiting). To participate in the contest you gotta send us your personal information. The announcement will be between five or three days before the show.” I read and immediately I sent my stuff because I just thought, “Ok, this is it, this is the chance I’ve been waiting for!”

The rest of the week I kept praying and calling that amazing wish I had. I told some of my best friends to help me out to get what I wanted, so I just told them to say “Lala (my nickname) is gonna meet them.” And the same with my family!

All that happened on Tuesday.

Friday afternoon I was watching TV. Somehow I felt that I had to check out my mail, but I said, “No, this is not the time, there’s still two days left until the notice if I won!” So I was on my Facebook and then I couldn’t resist it anymore and I checked out my Inbox because I was feeling something inside!

As expected, there it was – another mail from the fan club with the title: “Meet & greet in San Jose” (the city where I live in Costa Rica). When I saw that I thought two things: 1. I won and 2. These are just the lists with the winners names. I just opened the mail and the only word I read was, “Congratulations.” Then it said you’ve won a meet & greet pass to meet the Jonas Brothers in San Jose!!!!! A freaking scream came out of my mouth and I just thought my heart was gonna jump out of my chest. I just run over to my mom’s room & I didn’t say nothing. She saw me and just said, “DID YOU WIN?” And she hugged me and I just started crying so bad & to hyperventilate. I couldn’t stop crying for 10 minutes & then she started crying with me!

The show day came faster than what I thought and my dream just came true – I met my idols and it was the most crazy and amazing experience in my whole life so far. Then the concert was I don’t know… speechless! GREAT!

I do believe in The Secret. I’m trying to get more involved with it because now I know it works! It can change your life completely if you keep the faith, no matter what other non-believers say!
