Hi, I am 14 years old and am at the point in my life where I am taking GCSE exams. Late last year (I can’t remember exactly when) the day of my first ever proper GCSE exam and it was maths, something I would have previously considered one of my ‘worst subjects’, being honest, I was incredibly nervous. Anyway I went in, did the exam and felt OK, however like I said it was my first ever proper exam and was quite worried about was grade I would get. Just so you know at this point I had not even heard of, let alone read or watched The Secret, however my mum had. She told me that every day I should imagine being told that I got an A and the feeling that bring to me.
At first I was quite sceptical because I thought well what if I don’t get an A, then I will be even more disappointed, but I did it, everyday I imagined what it would be like when I was told I had an A and the excitement about getting home and telling everyone. Anyway I did this pretty much everyday for the four months it takes for the results to get back, and then that day came. I walked in and my teacher was telling some other students what they got. He looked at me, looked at the computer screen and told me the news. Low and behold, I got an A! I was ecstatic, it was the best feeling ever.
Anyway a few months later I saw The Secret on my mum’s book shelf and for whatever reason, decided to pick it up and read it. After reading just the first few pages it dawned on me that I had used the law of attraction to get that A. Suddenly the whole world just opened up in front of me, I new that it worked.
Just have faith, it really really does work.
