This story has been pending for a long time now . I used the law of attraction to attract many things in my life
I read The Secret book in 2015. I had always gotten what I wanted in my life but I never knew there was a formula for it. I was particularly good at manifesting excellent career opportunities and achievements. I had used it to get into a top engineering collage in India, VNIT/REC. When I read The Secret book I was like, “Oh my God, I know this thing “. I realized that I could use the law of attraction in all other areas of my life, especially relationships . I have manifested so many things in my life, here are some of them.

1) Attracted my soulmate and happily living in my own “happily ever after”!

2) Excellent onsite job opportunity as a software engineer for Apple Inc in Cupertino. I was not that qualified and a fresher but I still got the opportunity. I wanted the job in the US as my fiancee used to stay there and I wanted to join him but didn’t wanted to leave my excellent career in India.

3) I lost the above mentioned job and work permission in the US during the 2009 recession. I started an online business out of sheer boredom and to earn a little bit pocket money for shopping. Very soon in that business I was making exactly as much money as I had been making working for Apple and I never went to back to an IT job. That was the goal I set for myself, to never go back to an IT job.

4) I moved back to India and started another business similar to the one above. My goal was to make 32 lakh/annum or 2 lakhs per month after taxes. I reached that goal in 8 months!!

I then moved back to the US. Facing postpartum depression after my second child was born, I quit my above business and decided to focus on my health and children. I read many books during this time including The Secret, learned meditation and my manifestation power shot through the roof especially for the small, everyday things!!

5) I was not happy with my relationships in my life with my family, friends and my employees, which was caused by my depression. There was great turbulence in my marriage, too. I healed all my relationships using journaling, visualization and practicing gratitude. Hubby and me emerged out of this stronger and with great love and respect for each other!

6) I wrote myself the famous Secret Check for a million dollars with date and then I totally forgot about it! I attracted the exact amount, exactly on that date but one year earlier!!

7) I started my third service based business in the US recently, (https://imaidcleaning.com) and it is absolutely killing it!! My growth blew the mind of the CRM guy from whom I purchased the software for my business.The goal this time is in 1 year to make a million in revenue!

8) I created my ideal body measurements of 34”-26”-38” after having two kids. Basically I stopped believing that you can’t have a flat tummy or lose weight after having kids.

CONS

Everybody always writes how they attract positive things but you attract negatives things too. Example in the points 3 and 4. I was able to reach my goals quickly but I was never able to beat them. Sometimes it used to drive me mad that why I am not able progress further and got plateaued there. It all made sense after I read The Secret. You will only attract what you visualize or focus on, not more, not less!!
