I recently saw The Secret over the holidays. Feeling depressed, it couldn’t have come at a better time. I tried putting it to practice, but with no luck. I tried thinking positive and it wasn’t working, so I would come to this site, read stories to get some inspiration and as I read there was always one thing in common – “gratitude”. I started thinking and realised that I was not grateful for what I have. I wrote down all the things I’m grateful for, I thank God everyday for what he has given me and my luck has started to change.

My car broke down on January 4th and I started to take the bus to school and work until I get it fixed. I missed my bus one morning and it was freezing out. I was waiting on the next bus and it was taking what seemed like forever. I asked the universe to send my bus and really believed it would come. So I closed my eyes and enjoyed sitting in the warm bus looking outside at the beautiful blue sky.
No sooner did I open my eyes, that the bus come around the corner. Could be a coincidence, but wait on my way home the next day I tried it again and it happened again.

I’m trying to manifest bigger things and believe I will get them, it’s just a matter of the right time to get them, I will let the universe decide. In the meantime, I will enjoy and be grateful with what I have.
