I’ve owned The Secret and The Magic for quite some time now and The Secret has done wonders for my mental health when I needed it the most. That was why I had purchased The Magic when it was released years ago. I would always get to day 3 of my practice and then give up. This was a repeated cycle; I would take the book and journal with me on trip and vacations hoping that the Zen would get me into my practice, but it didn’t.

Then low and behold, a global pandemic hit and we were placed in locked down in late March of 2020. After having some bad days, I ended up pick up The Magic and committed to the 28 days of The Magic Practices. I literally had no excuse to not do them since I could not leave the house.

I picked up The Magic because I was in a really bad place with my career, and specifically with my relationship with my manager. He had given me a horrible year end review without having provided me any feedback throughout the year. I also had an open complaint with HR with him for discrimination. I kept my energy as light and positive as I could but HR dismissed the complaint and inappropriate behaviour, and this is where the retaliation with him started. It got so bad that I ended up having to take a leave do to stress . Then I really channeled my inner energy into wanting something new.

I created a vision board and started writing down my  affirmations every day again. I even started writing a manifestation I desired, I wanted a new job before the end of November , and I included my target salary and benefits. I focused on this for a good 3 months plus, believing that something amazing was going to happen to me and that I could feel it coming. I had been applying to many jobs and interviewing but I had not yet been successful. I had my eye on this one job at the same level I am currently at. It was with a company that my friend had given give me a referral for too.

I woke up one morning so disappointed when I had gotten the rejection email from them. I went on a walk with my cousin who is also on a similar frequency as me with the law of attraction. I said to her that I want to work for this company. That I had heard amazing things about it and they pay well.

That evening I received an email from a recruiter for that company wanting to meet with me for a higher level position. She told me that the interview process is sometimes longer and to be patient.

Long story short is that I got that higher position job, before the end of November with all of the items that I had asked the Universe for! I went back to my list of desires I had created when I started the 28 day’s of The Magic  journey and all the items on that list I wrote about my career had been checked off! And, I didn’t even realize I had manifested them all and so much more!
