Manifesting My Dream Life With LOA.
Submitted by: Lisa H.
Birmingham, Alabama, USI am a semi-retired marketing and publishing executive with 40 years experience. After retirement, I have been a contract grant writer for nonprofits while pursuing my passion of writing a screenplay for a romantic comedy and another for a true life drama. Writing movies that are produced and successful is my biggest dream. I live happily with my soul mate/husband and our 18-year-old cat and dachshund puppy in our dream condo overlooking Birmingham city skyline sunsets.
Ever since I was 24 years old I have kept a huge, 3 ring binder filled with my lists of wishes, goals, resolutions, and dreams. Today, at 64 years old, I still revisit those lists and see what has happened and what is left to complete and manifest those accomplishments. I use vision boards every January to visualize my dreams for the New Year. It is absolutely amazing how many of my goals have come true, even when all appears to be impossible. I was able to semi retire and bring in a nice side income by writing grants for nonprofit organizations. I live happily with my soul mate turned husband and our 18 year old cat and a dachshund puppy in our dream condo overlooking Birmingham city skyline sunsets. And my free time has allowed me to learn about writing screenplays and pitching them to producers and Hollywood executives.
Making movies is my passion project and I want to see it happen before I die. My parents both died very young and I am already older than they were when they passed. I don’t fool myself that I will have a long life so the movies have to happen for me and soon! I have been investing in education and networking and using two great writers for hire to produce the scripts. I have also been spending my own money to arrange pitch sessions with Hollywood insiders, with some encouragement and success. I use The Secret and the law of attraction every day. I visualize that I find the best parking spot, a positive review of a script, a screenwriting mentor-teacher, and many other things to help me through a process about which I have no experience.
All along this process, I have encountered miracles and there are just too many to list. But it has not been inexpensive to follow this passion. I had charged my credit cards to the max and had very little cash in the bank when I woke up this morning. I knew my husband would not understand or help me. So, I very calmly called my bank this morning and asked for a personal loan to pay off my credit cards and also have some money to spend on my movie passion. Lo and behold, the loan money was deposited into my checking account this afternoon! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I had been turned down by three other banks.
I have already paid my biggest debt and will pay the other one tomorrow morning, with enough money left over to sign on with my favorite screenwriting coach and teacher. Just yesterday, I had no idea how to take care of my financial situation. Now less than 24 hours later, the money is in my account. I am determined to stay out of debt, too, and save money to write, pitch, and network my screenplays. Nothing can stop me now.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Also, thank you so very much for The Secret Super App.
