Manifesting A Dream
Submitted by: KG
Toronto, OntarioA hopeless optimist, a die-hard fan of goodness and anyone and everyone who believes in goodness and a firm believer that this world is filled with good people :)
Since I started working I have always jumped from one job to another, just enjoying one a bit more than the previous one.
I never realized it until one day my cousin pointed it out to me, “K, you don’t just land these jobs, you attract them”.
Epiphany moment for me!
Although I would not really think about these moments, I managed to keep most of my thoughts positive even through the toughest of times.
Through my troubled times, I would talk with conviction about one day owning a tiny school of my own. It would have a large “green space”. That’s the word I would use, not “backyard”. I would say, “It will be charming, small, quaint, old and drop dead gorgeous.” Parents will register their children with me with the conviction that their children are in the best space possible.
Sure enough, I did manifest that dream. And today I am in the process of renovating a school “EXACTLY” the way I had envisioned it to be. The green space is larger than the school. It is a 150 year old tiny home that is so charming and located in an stunning, calm neighbourhood that is so perfect to promote my beliefs in education.
I am beyond blessed and I am living my dream. Come September when those little ones will first set foot into this space, I know I will be teary eyed 🙂
