First of all, I would like to thank Rhonda Mam and the entire team of ‘The Secret’ for bringing this magic into our lives.

I and my friends had planned to visit a hill station in Uttrakhand in January. A few days before our trip I checked the temperature of the place and thought it would be nice if I could get to have snow there. So, I searched for the place on Instagram and found a few pics of a place near to the one we were visiting and found some snow-filled pictures. I then thought that it would be fine if there was no snow at the place we were visiting, we could still travel to the nearby place that I saw on Insta and maybe we can go there also and get some snow.

I left with my friends for the hill station with zero expectations of anything. When half of the distance was covered, I don’t know what happened to me but I felt such a strong urge to see snow as I had never seen snow before. This urge kept on increasing and then I kept saying to my friends that we will get snow and that I want snow. After some time, I said to myself that not only would I see snow but I will experience a snowfall also. Then I remembered some of the stories I had read here and I closed my eyes and visualized myself in a beautiful place with snow falling. I gave gratitude for the snowfall and then opened my eyes. After doing this I had an unshakable faith that I was going to get to experience snow falling. I told my friends, but most importantly, I told myself that I would get to see both snow and snow falling.

We were one hour away from the hill station and the night came to an end, the sun came out and there were no signs of snow or snowfall. We were driving up the hill station but I still didn’t have a doubt in my mind.

As we were approaching closer to our destination, some patches of snow became visible, and then gradually the snow increased until I saw snow-covered mountains that had not been visible just a few minutes ago.

Then, we reached the hill station. Our guide who had come to receive us told us that there was snow because of a snowfall that happened in December, so half of the ice had melted and this was what was left. The snow was hard and there was not that much but I was happy and felt gratitude because I had finally seen snow and that too, for the first time! The guide also told us that there was a snowfall prediction for today but since the weather was so clear and the sun was shining so bright that he thought that there was no possibility of snowfall. I ignored the second part of what he said and only focused on the first part, that there was a prediction. It made my belief stronger that snow would be there.

We then went to our cottage and were ready to get some sleep. While sleeping, I had a moment of doubt since the weather had been clear, the sun had been shining and also tomorrow at midday we would be leaving this place so how would I experience snowfall? But then immediately I decided that I would not doubt myself and would leave the ‘how’ and ‘when’ to the Universe. Today or tomorrow or when I don’t know, I just knew I was going to experience snowfall on this trip. So after that, I slept for some time and then we had breakfast.

We were getting ready for our trek to a nearby place and all this while we were inside our cottage and didn’t know what the weather conditions were outside. One of my friends got ready before all of us and went outside. He felt like maybe it was raining or something and then he screamed and we all heard it. Snowfall, snowfall! I quickly went outside and the snow had just started falling and it was no less than a miracle to me! I was happy and almost had tears in my eyes and kept thanking God and the Universe for the miracle. I knew it would happen but when it was really happening, I was overwhelmed. That whole day the snow kept falling and the place, the trees, the mountains, and everything was covered in fresh snow. It was like a winter wonderland and I felt more than happy the whole day and kept thanking God and the Universe for the gift.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, God, thank you, thank you, thank you, Universe for turning an ordinary trip into one of the best trips of my life.
