So last year around this time in Mumbai, school begins with Nursery level admission. After taking a lot of reviews from a lot of experienced moms I narrowed down two schools for my daughter. Out of those two, the first one was the super most important for my husband as well as me. We did all the required procedures of filling out the forms and everything else perfectly.

There was a group of 7 mothers who had applied to the same school for their kids. All my mothers got an email for their respective child’s school interviews but I was the only one still not getting any email. Slowly we were losing hope. But last year during the summer I had read The Magic book and I realized that I could turn this situation around.

So every day I started writing affirmations in my phone’s notes section. I started visualizing us receiving an email from the desired school regarding getting shortlisted and that an interview had been scheduled for the same and my daughter was giving her interview absolutely brilliantly. I was showing gratitude for the same and I imagined myself excitedly sharing the good news with all my near and dear ones.

Within a week of doing this, what I had imagined actually happened! Everything that happened was exactly as I had visualized. And today I can proudly say that my daughter is studying in the same school that I had always dreamed of and I love the way the school is shaping my child!
