I manifested my ultimate dream promotion! I have been an avid practitioner of The Secret, the law of attraction, and gratitude for the past 5 years. Every time I have been stuck, this magical practice has helped me pave out the perfect solution.

For those of you who feel stuck in your careers, here is my magical story. I hope it brings you hope and positivity on your manifestation journey. The Universe is magical and it helped me to realize all of my dreams. Have faith that it is working for you too.

As a hospitality graduate with an MBA in Sales and Marketing, I had worked in different roles with multiple organizations for over 7 years, struggling to find my true passion and calling. Though I had seen success in my job in Marketing, I felt uneasy and lacked a sense of fulfillment. I felt underutilized, underpaid, and stuck in a job that I didn’t particularly enjoy. Moreover, this sense of despair had started to affect my self-confidence. I found myself feeling lost, and unhappy, so I decided to really turn my situation around.

The first step was to really believe that my dream job existed and was on its way to finding me. How did I do this?

1. I decided to actively stop complaining about all the things I didn’t like in my current job. To do this, I switched my focus to all the little things about my job that made me feel good. Things like my co-workers, the time saving equipment I had at my disposal for daily work, my laptop, my WFH schedule, and my work-life balance.

2. I trained my mind to replace every complaint with 3 good things or blessings in my life.

3. I wrote down all the good things that I wanted in my job and career, my ideal compensation, profile, work hours, company, location, boss, and team.

4. I made it a point to read through this list every day. I would imagine myself in my dream job, receiving my first pay cheque, and feeling good about myself. I would often find myself daydreaming about how I would tell my family that I had gotten my dream offer letter.

5. I made it a point every day to write down 10 things that I was grateful for.

6. Lastly, I made a conscious effort to believe in myself. To believe that I would attract the very best for me, believe that I would be great at my new job, believe that I would impress the interviewer with my skills and competencies, and believe that there were infinite new opportunities coming my way.

7. I wrote down my experience of manifesting my dream job in the present tense, imagining that it was mine already. I also would focus on the hope others would feel when they read about my positive experience.

Though nothing had moved forward for the past 3 months, I felt a monumental shift begin to occur the day I decided to focus my energy on feeling good. My husband and I decided that we would make the next few weeks magical with our thoughts.

1. The Universe sent me a few signs during the next 2 to 3 days reassuring me that my dream job was on its way

2. I got recommended for a double promotion at work. I decided to give my best in the interview and I had even more faith and hope.

3. My husband and I finally got our insurance claim on our car, which had been pending for over a month. After all the initial hurdles, the company had granted us the insurance claim we rightfully deserved.

4. The most magical thing of them all was that I finally did it! I manifested my dream job. My interview call for my promotion proceeded phenomenally well. I was honest and gave it my very best.

The results? I got my dream offer letter in my hands the very month of my interview. Everything was in accordance with my wishlist. I got a double salary hike, a warm boss, and an incredible team.

I’m ever so grateful to the Universe for showing me light when I needed it the most. Gratitude and visualization helped me make my dream job a reality.
