This is a very simple story of how I manifested my car. I was introduced to the concept of The Secret long ago by a friend who had explained to me the power of the law of attraction, the steps of manifesting, and the need to apply the LOA into my life. However, I never read The Secret and kept sulking in my negativity.

Four years ago I was driving my father’s car and got into a minor accident while reverse parking. Nobody was hurt by it but I got into a major argument with my father. He said he did not believe in my driving skills and I was not allowed to touch the car again. That gave me negative thoughts about ever driving a car again.

I joined my residency and have been earning quite well for the last 3 years. Still, whenever someone told me to buy a car, I would remember and narrate about my accident, saying how I want a car but I was a bad driver and will never be able to drive.

Then last month, one of my friends who is a strong follower of the LOA, sent me pictures of her with her new car saying that she had manifested it. Seeing those pictures, I felt so happy and I gazed at the car with a smile. I felt I should have one too.

So I imagined myself driving a car with perfection, parking with perfection, and being happy, confident, and independent. I imagined myself with my head held high and getting out of my car like a diva. And then I thought about how happy it would make me feel.

Later, during a casual conversation with my mom, I just mentioned how I would love to have a small car for myself. Then I forgot about it. A week later I got a call from my dad asking me if I wanted a Maruti Suzuki Swift or a Hyundai NIOS i10?? I thought they are just asking casually so I answered that I liked the i10.

A week after that, I got a call from the car dealer that my father had contacted, to discuss the model of i10 I wanted. I called my father to ask if he was actually serious about getting me a car and allowing me to drive?? I probably asked him twice, maybe thrice?? To which he answered very firmly, saying that it was my car and it was arriving soon.

Within a week the car was delivered to my doorstep. That was when I retrospectively checked how I had unknowingly applied the law of attraction and attracted this car. That was when I bought myself a copy of The Secret and started reading it. The more I read it, the more I understood where I was right and where I was wrong. The more I read it, the more I realized how many opportunities I had missed in my life because I was too practical to dream big. I also realized I used the LOA many times before for little things that I had achieved.

With this knowledge I have now started practising mindfulness in every aspect of my life. Now on my mind is a major manifestation that I will write a story about here once I have it. However, in my mind, I do have it already.
