I am excited to post my second personal story here!

I had always performed well in High School. However, when I got into University, I became stressed due to fear, poor time management, and feeling inferior to the other foreign students around me. As a result, I succumbed to low grades. Sometimes I even failed my tests, hence needing to push myself more to score better for the finals. I ended up with low grades like B minuses and Cs.

Whenever I felt bored or depressed from studying, I would often visit this site to motivate myself. Reading stories about how people managed to get good grades by using The Secret, inspired me. A few things dawned on me:

1. Some things are meant to be accomplished effortlessly rather than by force. I came to realize that I might be too eager or too anxious to perform hence creating resistance to the good grades that were on their way. My solution was to study when I felt like it rather than forcing myself to study. Focus on doing my best, trust the Universe, and understand that the ‘how’ part will be done for me.

2. Only accept positive messages and throw away negative or unwanted messages. Sometimes other people around me would tell me how hard the subjects were or how difficult it is to get a good score for certain subjects or complain about the workload. My solution was to have a filter in my mind. I learned to differentiate positive from negative messages and also observe my reactions. When I was agreeing with other people, I was unconsciously bringing that negative scenario to myself!

3. Unwavering faith brings me ultimate hope. There were times when I might doubt my ability to perform. I had never gotten an A grade before so how can I do it now? My solution was to believe and see it in my mind that I could get my desired grade. That was inspired by Bob Proctor who is my idol! I would write my desired grades down on a piece on paper and read them aloud every night before bed. This was also implied in “The Power of the Subconscious Mind” book.

When all those 3 things dawned on me, after applying them, my grades improved. I used to get many C’s, B minuses, and a few Bs. But this time around I only got one C plus and I am grateful that it was only in one subject. I got many B pluses and for the first time in forever, I achieved an A plus, from the subject I least expected!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
