It was the beginning of April 2021 when I had my next step perfectly lined up. I was planning to continue my higher studies in the UK and do a really good internship alongside it. However, when I got around to applying for my higher studies, I was told that I would not be able to live in the UK while pursuing that course. Which meant that I would also lose my internship. Just like that, in a matter of moments, I felt my whole life fall apart, or at least, that was what I thought!

April 2021 was also the end of my undergrad education so I just made a promise to myself that I would finish my undergrad year strong and then I would worry about what comes next afterward.

Soon enough, the end of April came about, and I opened NetFlix and decided to watch a movie. I ended up watching, The Secret: Dare to Dream, and immediately after watching the movie I ordered The Secret book. And just like that, the next morning when I was awake, The Secret book was already here!

When I started reading the first few pages of the book I was like, “Here we go again, the same old ‘you can do anything you want’ kind of book”. But I still kept reading it because something was drawing me towards it. After a few days of reading the book, my whole life changed. Suddenly I had this unwavering faith that everything would work out in my favor. Why? Because the Universe has never let me down.

I made post-it notes saying things from the book like, “Thoughts become things”, “This is a friendly Universe”, “Miracles are daily occurrences” etc. And every second of every day I was very conscious of the thoughts I was thinking. Every time I would see a sign or notice synchronicity I would take a moment to just express gratitude for everything that I wanted as if I already had it!

That was at the end of April. I did those things for about 50 days and then one day I get a call saying “You have got an interview for this job, but it’s in another country”. I said yes without any hesitation because it was with my dream organization.

Long story short, few days after the interview I got a call saying I got the job and now I am living my dream life, thanks to the powers that may be!

Gratitude has truly changed my life and I would not be here were it not for The Secret and for all of your wonderful stories that kept me going through those couple of months of uncertainty.

To whoever is reading this. This is your sign that your life from now on will only work in best-case scenarios because this is a friendly Universe and its timing is nothing but perfect!!
